Seeing as the development of MTC has turned into something of a second (nearly full-time) job, something like this to decentralize everything that could go away in a moment (e.g. Patreon, Steam) felt necessary. It allows me to keep people updated in case the worst happens with either of the aforementioned. But with that, much like Daz or Blender assets, comes costs. Most of the money being made from Move the Chains (and likely all other future projects) is being reinvested into stuff like this, hardware for rendering, and things of that nature. We know you’ve heard this all before, but at the same time, it’s something that needs to be at least mentioned. We know times are hard, so you giving us your hard-earned money means a ton.
