This will eventually be the page for We Were Just Kids’ rework, Lovesong. For now it’s mostly blank as there’s not much to show. If you head over to the progress reports page soon, there’ll be some short devlogs and such eventually. For now, it’ll likely be made up mostly of character designs. 

For those unfamiliar, We Were Just Kids was my initial entry into AVNs. It was shelved for several reasons. Trolling, general unhappiness with the state of the game, lack of knowledge, and a lack of general direction in the story. Too many things going on in a story that was unrelated. Scope creep, that lack of experience, and that lack of direction took over the game and eventually turned into something unrecognizable. WWJK was originally written by a friend of mine, but it ended up looking much different – and it’ll be going back to that version. 

Some elements of the story are the same. Such as the music. But it’s tonally a lot more grounded in reality, in a much darker way. The weird crime storyline and the random ex are gone. There’s still some details to work out, so I’ll leave it here for now, but we’ll have more coming soon!
